Manuel Almunia believes that Cesc Fŕbregas could become as good as Kaká after the Arsenal star eclipsed the Brazilian in the Champions League on Tuesday.
The Gunners' goalkeeper has been so impressed with the Catalan playmaker's rise that he thinks that he is set to become equally revered.
Fŕbregas' long range strike against Milan helped Arsenal defeat the reigning champions of Europe in their own stadium and earned himself all the plaudits.
While Kaká may only be 25, the former Barça youth team player is five years his junior and is already making himself a name with his outstanding displays for Arséne Wenger's team.
"Age doesn't matter when a player has the talent Cesc has," Almunia said.
"He plays like a veteran. He will become a legend at Arsenal and has the capacity, skill and quality to be as good as Kaká, winning titles and becoming a great player."
To prove himself at the highest level though, Almunia believes that Fŕbregas must win silverware to continue his rise to the top.
"He needs to win major titles to become a truly great player," the Spanish custodian added.
"But, even in the last year, he has improved such a great deal. He can be as good as he wants to be."
